ILARA, LAGOS – The Asiwaju Mobilization Group (AMG), a leading grassroots organization championing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has intensified its nationwide stakeholder engagements ahead of a proposed countrywide mobilization campaign for the President’s re-election bid.
As part of its strategic consultations, the National Coordinator of AMG, Amb. Oladeinde David Adekunle popularly known as “Diamond David”, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, Teleade IV, the Alara of Ilara Kingdom at his palace in Ilara.
The visit was aimed at formally briefing the revered monarch on AMG’s mobilization blueprint and to seek his royal blessings, guidance and support.
Grassroots Mobilization and Royal Partnership
Addressing the monarch, Amb. Adekunle reaffirmed AMG’s commitment to building a strong, coordinated and inclusive grassroots structure capable of reaching every community across Nigeria.
He stressed that the organization recognizes the critical role of traditional institutions in promoting peace, unity, national development, and effective citizen engagement.
“Our mission is to deepen grassroots awareness of the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and to mobilize Nigerians to continue to key into the Renewed Hope Agenda,” the National Coordinator stated.
“We cannot do this effectively without the support and blessings of our royal fathers, who remain the custodians of our culture and the conscience of our communities.”
Alara’s Warm Reception and Royal Blessings
Receiving the delegation, the Alara of Ilara warmly welcomed the AMG team and commended them for their initiative and patriotism.
Oba Ogunsanwo offered royal prayers for the success of the group’s mission and pledged his support for any initiative geared towards national unity and the progress of Nigeria under President Tinubu.
The monarch described the Renewed Hope Agenda as a bold vision that deserves the support of all well-meaning Nigerians, particularly at the grassroots level.
AMG’s Nationwide Strategy
Also speaking, AMG officials present at the meeting reiterated that the visit to Ilara is part of a broader nationwide consultation tour. The group is scheduled to engage traditional rulers, community leaders, women and youth groups, professionals, and other critical stakeholders in all states of the federation.
It was noted that the Deputy National Coordinator and Lagos State Coordinator of AMG, Dr. Olusegun Okeowo, was unavoidably absent as he was representing the organization on an international assignment in Abuja.
Despite his absence, AMG assured that preparations for the nationwide mobilization campaign are progressing steadily, with structures being strengthened across the 36 states and the FCT.
Commitment to Renewed Hope
The Asiwaju Mobilization Group reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to expanding its grassroots presence and building strategic alliances in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and its people-centered policies.
The courtesy visit to the Alara of Ilara marks another significant milestone in AMG’s efforts to consolidate stakeholder support ahead of its full-scale national mobilization exercise.
