Hon. Balogun Rotimi Olatubosun, popularly known as B.R.O., has taken his political engagement to the grassroots with a door-to-door campaign across Ikorodu, using direct interaction with residents to present his vision and listen to the concerns of the people.
During the engagement, Olatubosun reiterated his commitment to a political approach that places the interests of ordinary citizens at the centre of governance. He maintained that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) should serve as a platform for the entire populace rather than one restricted to its registered members.
According to him, the dividends of democracy should not be determined by party membership. Every citizen, he emphasized, deserves to benefit from good governance, irrespective of political affiliation.
Economic empowerment also featured prominently in his message. B.R.O. identified the creation of economic opportunities as a major priority, stressing the importance of initiatives capable of helping individuals and families improve their standard of living and become more financially independent.
The door-to-door campaign provided a platform for residents to engage with him directly, express their expectations and discuss some of the challenges confronting their communities.
The grassroots outreach underscores Olatubosun’s emphasis on taking politics beyond rallies and public gatherings by engaging directly with the people in their homes and communities.
With the campaign continuing, B.R.O. is positioning his message around inclusive governance, economic empowerment and a democratic system in which the benefits of government are intended for the broader society.
