The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially commenced its Lagos East Senatorial Campaign with a major flag-off that brought together party leaders, candidates, stakeholders, grassroots coordinators, women leaders and party faithful from across the Senatorial District.
The event represents a significant step in the ADC’s campaign journey as the party deepens its engagement with communities across Ikorodu, Kosofe, Somolu, Ibeju-Lekki and Epe.
Among the prominent stakeholders at the event was Hon. Balogun Rotimi Olatubosun (B.R.O.), who joined other party leaders and stakeholders in the mobilisation exercise. Speaking to members of the press after the event, Olatubosun highlighted the importance of grassroots engagement, unity and responsible political participation.
According to him, meaningful political engagement must remain centred on the people, their concerns and their aspirations. He emphasised the need for party structures at the ward and community levels to remain active, coordinated and connected with the electorate.
The flag-off also provided a platform to showcase the ADC Lagos East Senatorial candidates, with stakeholders reaffirming the importance of effective representation, responsible leadership and sustainable development across the district.
The strong participation of ADC women leaders, grassroots coordinators and party supporters further underscored the importance of inclusive mobilisation as the campaign moves into the next phase.
With the campaign officially underway, the ADC is expected to intensify its grassroots engagement and community outreach across Lagos East, promoting its candidates and engaging the electorate on issues of importance to the district.
The campaign carries a clear message:
“FOR A GREATER LAGOS EAST, FOR A GREATER NIGERIA.”
