The Convener and National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Mobilization Group (AMG), Ambassador Oladeinde David Adekunle, has charged members of the organization to intensify grassroots mobilisation across the country ahead of the 2027 Presidential Election.
In a statement issued to members on Friday, Amb. Adekunle said the commencement of the official campaign season on 19th August 2026 marked a new phase for AMG, noting that the period of planning and preparation had now given way to full-scale action.
“The Time for Action is Now”
According to him, AMG is fully prepared to drive support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR in every part of Nigeria.
He urged members to take the message of the President to rural communities, cities, marketplaces, campuses, and all grassroots formations.
“The work has started, and I have no doubt that we are equal to the task — and even more than equal,” Amb. Adekunle declared.
He described AMG as a movement anchored on conviction and determination, and called on members to remain committed to the group’s objectives across the six geopolitical zones.
“We Are Capacity and Competence”
The National Coordinator highlighted the intellectual and professional depth of AMG, describing its membership as a blend of seasoned politicians, technocrats, academics, professors, PhD holders, and grassroots mobilisers.
“We are not just a crowd. We are capacity. We are not just numbers. We are competence. And we are ready,” he stated.
Commendation and Appreciation
Amb. Adekunle commended AMG members for their sustained efforts in promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing that the pursuit of a greater and more prosperous Nigeria requires collective responsibility.
He expressed special appreciation to the state coordinators of Kaduna, Kano, Zamfara, and Jigawa for their leadership in the North-West region.
Kaduna to Host North-West Zonal Rally
As part of its mobilisation activities, Amb. Adekunle announced that Kaduna State will serve as the launch point for AMG’s North-West Zonal Rally.
He expressed confidence that the rally would meet international standards and commended the organizing committee for their efforts. He noted that the North-West mobilisation would set the pace for similar activities across the country.
Leadership Acknowledged
The National Coordinator also recognized key members of the organization for their contributions, including:
Deputy National Coordinator, Dr. Olusegun Okeowo; Hon. Julius Dung; Prof. Adewale Ayobami; Prof. Salisu; Prof. Segun Adelodun; Women Leader, Madam Folashade; Deputy Women Leader, Hajia Maryam; Deputy National Secretary, Engr. Hamsat; and Dr. Korede.
He also extended appreciation to all coordinators, volunteers, and grassroots foot soldiers for their dedication.
“We Are Set, We Shall Conquer”
In his concluding remarks, Amb. Adekunle urged members to approach the political season with courage, unity, discipline, and excellence.
“The mission is clear. The leader is tested. The agenda is Renewed Hope. Let us go forth with courage, with unity, and with excellence. History is watching. Nigeria is counting on us. We are set. And by God’s grace, we shall conquer.”
He concluded with prayers for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Asiwaju Mobilization Group.
